Interactivity that inspires learning

TI-Nspire is a flexible ICT platform that enables students to explore different mathematical structures, concepts and expressions.

It does this by dynamically linking software applications, which include Calculator, Graphs, Geometry, Lists & Spreadsheet, Data & Statistics and Notes.

TI-Nspire is a modular system which is available in fully compatible handheld and software versions, to meet different teaching and learning needs. It can be used on a computer, projected onto a whiteboard or screen and used on a handheld device, by individuals and groups view classroom diagram.

The modular system has four main elements, which are described below:

1. Flexible handheld device

With the TI-Nspire Handheld, students can work alone or as part of a class. It’s easy to manage files and share work between handhelds and software, making homework and assessment simpler. An interchangeable TI-84 Plus Keypad is also available. Find out more

2. Interactive classroom tools

The TI-Nspire Navigator™ wireless classroom system enables classroom connectivity and interactivity in a shared mathematics space, with instant feedback and screen captures. This engages learners, encourages classroom participation and increases achievement. It is also perfect for assessing progress as an AfL (Assessment for Learning) activity. Find out more

3. Software

TI-Nspire Teacher Edition Software can be used on its own or in conjunction with the handheld. You can prepare lessons and project concepts in vibrant colour with an emulator of the handheld device. This improves the classroom learning experience and provides greater versatility for lesson planning. Find out more

4. Support and resources

An integral part of the TI-Nspire offering is the unrivalled support available to teachers. Resources include ready-to-use classroom activities, templates and lesson ideas, many of which are shared by teachers, as well as downloads and tutorials.
